alpine SUBWOOFER no adjust help!

hey i have an alpine 9857 i think. and i have a pg amp and on my headunit it has a setting to where you can adjust the subwoofers. it says SUBWOOFERS adn it goes from 0-15 well when i adjust it from 0-15 the bass sounds the same. help me out please!. thanks. its been blowing my speakers with to much bass. so i might just get a seperate amp to run my door speakers.

The most likely problem is that your RCA's are plugged into the wrong output. If you fade from front to rear, does it affect the subwoofer volume?

no it just fades from front to back like normal

either you have your RCA's in the wrong output, or you have your amps gain maxed out

You can try changing it on and off in the options. If you hold the "F" button you should come to some options which has (aux, sub on and off, ect). Your head unit may differ from mine (9826) but its worth a try.

And if that doesn't work cycle through your rca outputs because im sure it only controls one of them.
