Sides I rather have 2 tens than one 12...

niiiice, BUT don't order from etronics, they have horrible business practices. we nearly took them to court because they lost the type e that i got when i sent it back cause it arrived with a 3" cut in the cone, and they claimed that it wasn't their fault.

Alpine Type R are nice subs for the money. Just picked up two 2005 Type R 12", compared to the JL W6v2 but at a W3v2 price. I got a dual sealed custom box with subs for $408 brand new. The 2004 line is worth the money but if you can get ahold of some 05's go for it. The best deal I found on the Type R 2004 was $120 each.

I never bought anything from Etronics.

yessir, depending on what kind of box each setup is in. i'd actually take the 1 12'' myself. one sub looks more hardcore than 2 and 2

Check out http://www.cbrstereo.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=31CBR I have bought from them twice. Not a bad price, may not be the cheapest out there for thses speakers. $109 each is still pretty good considering they retailed for $200 each. I would buy again from CBRSTEREO.COM!!
