Alpine SPX-17PRO release date

A little off subject but I have a question about the F#1 set....I know there is a difference in a car and home driver but wouldn't it be ALOT cheaper to just buy the home drivers and either make (or have professionally made) crossovers????

Usually its cheaper to buy the raw drivers and make your own crossovers.

Most people dont use a passive crossover if they buy the raw drivers though.

Don't know if this helps clear up the debate of which tweeters they are. Seems as if the new SPX-17PRO tweeters might bethe previous model F#1 Status tweeters, and those are likely an offshoot of the R2904 Revelator tweeter.
