Alpine SPX-17PRO components

These seem pretty nice. I was looking at Focal 165KF Poly Kevlar K2 Power Series , but these handle more power for about the same money or maybe even a lil less. What are the thoughts on these? I am probably gonna go with 2 15" RE XXX subs and 2 T20001BD amps to power them, so of course I need components to match so I am not drowning them out. Also what amps are recommended for the SPX-17PROs, if they come recommended for my application.

p.s. I have a buddy who has four 6.5" component setups under his back window and components in the front doors too in his Mitsubishi Eclipse (it sounds nice!). I am willing to spend the $$ on some extra components in the name of NOT drowning mids and highs out.

That sounds like a nice system you plan on building. I have experienced both comps you are looking at and IMO take the K2Ps...

The Focal comps I was looking at in comparison to the SPX-17PRO were the 165KFs. They are about $200 or so cheaper than the K2Ps. The K2Ps handle 100w rms and the 165KFs handle 80w rms.

I just found some RE XXX 6.5" components on eBay for $280 shipped. They handle 150w rms...Anyone heard anything good/ran these??
