Alpine Spx-177r Component Opinions

Need your comments on these today.

Would like to pick up a set for active config. using a PRA-H400, two 180x2 Ultimate amps installed in my 2002 Mustang.

I'm hoping they will play loud with a nice fast midbass and neutral highs.

Anyone?

I've got the SPX-177R's. If you're wanting excellent SQ, then get them.

However, if you're looking for aggressive midbass, then I will not recommend them. Go with Rainbow SLC 265 Kicks as an alternative (around $280 shipped from authorized dealers here on the forum).
