Just bought them,new got a good price. Also bought MB Quart RAA2400 2x200 rms @4ohm amp (with clip protection)

My question is.. How much power should i give to my speakers? Will set hpf at 80hz after setting gains..

Dont send them any more than RMS to start. Get them broken in first (about a week or 2 for mine). With my HPF at 80hz i still really cant send them any more than RMS. Around 125 is the highest I will go. They cant take abuse.

Yeah.. I aint going to push it 2 hard at the begining (volume) but they are declared @ 110 rms,and that is Alpine R Type.. Is usually can hadle about 50 percent more than declared easily..

Im sending mine 125Rms right now and they are running fine and strong.
