I’ve heard them on a board and liked them. I like alpine products mostly. From what I’ve been told, they have good midbass and the tweeters get loud but can be a little harsh.

I have the current model R-S65C.2 in another vehicle enjoy them sound good to me. Better options at the price they should be $200 not $300. The previous models are similar in style the R-S65C and SPR-60C but have different tweeter adjustments and cone materials. The center piece is separate from the cone as well I forget what that is called. Instead of +3/0/-3 dB tweeter adjustment I believe those previous models have 0/-2/-4/-6 dB. I did see the SPR-60C awhile back for $150 I should’ve snagged those up at the time.

What options are you referring to at that price range? I’m open for sure

Alpine Is fairly decent. They still make pretty decent products. I had bought a Type R component set a couple years ago and placed them in a prepped, doors in my CVR on an Older Crossfire TEK 100.2. they sounded ok but I just didnt get a clean response in the Mid as I thought I would even with a 9 band Premap Eq installed. The Crossovers heated up and one melted with approx 70 rms on them.I tried a set of CDT crossovers I had sitting and still didnt get a clean mid. I replaced with the Infinity 60.11 series and was much more pleased.
