the pricetag on this was right at 500. it sounded better than 2 kicker comp cv's in a prefab there i thought.

Interesting. Im driving a volvo wagon specifically for the space to move back and forth from school every three months. So when I saw the article for them on wired I said cool just what I need space saver plus it kicks. I figure it would be worth the extra 200 im probably payin to save the space i'd get instead of upgrading to two high end 12s.

hate to be that guy but the one i heard, though it got moderately loud (about as loud as i expected), sounded like shit.. not complete shit obviously.. but i wouldnt want it based on the display at a local shop.

there are a number of certain vehicles that this would be right for such as vipers, corvettes, very small 2 dr sports cars with little to no trunk room ect....

it would even be good for the rich guy that just wants that little extra something that not going to sacrifice ahole lotta room. clean and simple ...

No problem I was kinda hoping they'd be good so I'd have an excuse to try out somethin new, but if they're only midgrade for 500-750 forget it...

tell you the truth youd be much better off buyin a high quality 10 or 12, build your own enclosure and call it a day

Listened to it at the Entertainer in Jeff City, Mo. Didn't go deep in my opionion and sounded strained at higher volumes. I would go with a mid-high quility 10 with a nice 500watt mono. Would be cheaper and sound tons better. my $.02 worth

i have the change to get two subs and an amp I dont know why but I'd really prefer to have 2 subs instead of just one. So would you recommend two 10s of the type you just recommended?

2 10s for the win.

try to fit them in a ported enclosure if you have the space, if not go sealed (or sealed if youre an sq nut).

there are a lot of decent subs you can get for 1-200 bucks a pop
