Alpine PXA-H660 vs JBL MS-8

i have a stock system with upgraded comps subs and a 4ch amp.

I have done some homework on both and they seem similar except the ms-8 with logic 7 multichannel processing.

PXE-h660 in 250$ while ms-8 is 799$ (which is a HUGE difference )

i have seen the ms-8 has better reviews. but i have a stock system and the alpine is specifically for that! the jbl is probably more expensive because of the extra bells n whistles lik more connections and multichannel.

both ve t/a, phase corr, auto eq (alpine has the renowned audyssey MultEq XT).

is the calibration of ms-8 as good as the

audyssey multeq? audyssey comes standard with many home theatre amplifiers.

my purpose is primarily to correct the sound of my car with the upgraded speakers n sub (which sounds pathetic btw!!)

What are the pros and cons of both? what would u ppl suggest? considering the cost diff?

MS-8 all the way and I just picked one up for $450 shipped. MS-8 is also for stock systems.

on ebay? is it safe? the jbl guy says they wont provide warranty if not taken from them directly! :s

on ebay? it safe purchasing from random ppl on ebay? even if they list it as unused and unopened, will the warranty be still in place?
