Alpine Pros Need for HU. thanks!

Okay here is the deal I own a W200 but it will not work in my SUV ( hits shift in park while ejecting ) so I have an option of grabbing my friends 9861 or another Alpine unit.

I have a H701 under the seat and 2 headrest monitors plus 10" monitor in back for the shows. I compete in MECA / USACi also. Anyways I will leave it up to you guys to decide my best bet for HU. What HU would you use of the 2006 models.

Also I want to be able to use full functions of the H701 processor. So grab a 9861 and C701 controller? Get a IVA -310 no controller? I'm looking at using a d100, 9965,9861,9860,d310.

I don't liek the 9861 at all, feels REAL cheap.

I'd go with a 9965, or a D310.

thanks thats what I'm thinking, more toward the d310 but I believe either would sound great and most of control the H701 without the c701 controller.

Indeed.

A lot of people don't like glidetouch... I personally don't either but it is completely different and well implemented on the 9965 IMO.

But for the price, might as well get the D310...
