Alpine PDX amps

Both will be underrated. Benefit of the Rockford is that the sub channel can do 1 ohm. Both are good deals. Get both and sell the one you don’t like as much ha

Ok so this might sound like a noob question. Say I get whatever components speakers for the front and coaxils for the rear and run them off my Alpine PDX f4. So my headunit is stock since I have navigation and such but using the JL audio fix 86. So my setting on my stock headunit goes + or - 6. So currently I have my bass at -6. Treble at 0. And subwoofer level at -5. There are more setting also but since I have my bass at -6 once my door speakers are installed how will I get the mod bass? Will I have to turn the bass to 0 and use my subwoofer knob and turn down the sub?

I would set everything at 0. The fix 86 is going to be taking the input signal and “fixing” the factory eq to give you a flat response. What vehicle do you have and what is the speaker setup? Also, what are you using for substage (sub and amp)?

2012 Acura TL Elite. Speaker will be either the Pioneer or Rockford Fosgate I posted earlier off Alpine PDX F4. Sub is 1 12" JL Audio W7 in 2.5 ft3 tuned to 34 hertz on a JL Audio HD 1200/1

Oh nice. I like the TL’s. Should be a good setup when you’re done with it. I’d install it all and if you’re satisfied, great. If you want more, then invest in a dsp and go active up front.

Having a hard time deciding between the Pioneers and Rockford Fosgates. Link will be below for Front and rears. Anyone have expereice with them? or suggest other good brand that will work good with my amp.

In that price range, Crutchfield has some offerings. The Alpine Type R set is usually a solid choice. I’ve always enjoyed Alpine products. Audiofrog has the G60S for more. I’ve never heard them but AF makes great stuff (I’d probably go type r though for the power). I love Polk MM series (marine grade is a plus) but midbass may not be there as the others. I’ve had good results with Morel too.

The more I look at all the specs, I really like the Polk MM. Can take some power and has a higher sensitivity than the others. But again, deaden and seal and that’ll make all the difference
