So for my filter mode should it be off HP or LP and set at 80 hertz?

I have no experience with pioneer speakers. I would try to run an active front stage and ditch the rear speakers.

If you run passive (using the crossovers in the component set) then I’d set your HPF around 80hz. The set says 32hz and up but I wouldn’t go that low honestly. You could try 60hz as well. Are you running a sub?

Also the specs look pretty good on the pioneer sets. I’d go with the Z as I like a bigger tweeter in a 2 way setup but if you go passive I’m not sure if it’ll matter. The sensitivity on them is low imo but you at least will have some good clean power going to them. What’s your budget for the speakers?

Im going with the Z Series component in the fronts with the crossovers. And the A series coaxial for rear fill. Sub is 12 w7 on HD 1200

Something around the Pioneer price range. I like the rear speakers as they are 4 way. Looking for good mid bass speakers
