is it bad to install these amps on the back of your rear seat? i have seen a lot of vids on youtube where people have them mounted vertically but have also heard that its bad. every pdx i have seen in real life up close have been mounting flat but i have zero space.

I don't think it matters, I have 2 PDX's and they are stacked in my center console...of course I have a couple of fans keeping them cool. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

I think you would be OK just remember that the heat sinks on these I believe are on top, so upside down may not be too good. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

wrong. the heat sinks are the black pieces that wrap around 3 sides of the amps. the 4th side is the control panel.
