alpine pdx-5 sub input

pickin one up tomorrow used, i cant find it but what is the input wiring configuration for the sub if you dont have a rca out for sub, im coming off a factory deck with only 4 outs, does the alpine have a subwoofer summing feature like the JL 500/5 or even the kicker 700.5 or do you have to have a independant sub input for the sub? am i supposed to use a y adapter to split signal from the 3/4 channel into the sub channel inputs? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
