Alpine PDX-5 quick-connect speaker wire plugs: Bad??

I haven't messed with the Alpine PDX-5's quick connect speaker wire plugs, but these kinda seem like some Alpine engineers were over-thinking the issue of speaker connections.

Anybody know if these are good, bad, a pain in the butt, or ___?

IMO, they're better than regular speaker terminals. It allows you to quick connect/disconnect speakers in a second, and by the looks of it, makes a really really good connection. Wires never come loose ect.

Very easy to use, and accepts large gauge wire with ease.
