I have no experience with Alpine's new PDX line personally but those that do have nothing but good things to say about them.

They're badass. I've sold and installed a ton of em. Small footprint, great build quality, good SQ...

Are those the new ICE powered ones. I installed one of those recently, didn't pay attention to the model number. Tons of power, was told by alpine how to get more power out of the ICE amps, and they are stackable.

Cool, I was planning on getting a pdx-1.600 for the sub. Maybe a JL10w7? What do you think?

The W7 has 750W RMS, if I'm not mistaken so I don't think you want to underpower them. I had a single Alpine Type-X that carried 1000W RMS and I powered it with my PDX 1.1000. In fact, they're awesome. Small amp with huge power.

I think you would consider the PDX 1.1000 to run your W7. Higher wattage on amp is better than lower since you can play the gain.

my 600.1 is running my tc sounds 100010 inch pretty good in a sealed box, but its only rated at 400 watts rms, I really like mine, also have a 4.150, and just got an Arc Audio 4200SE we will see how the compare
