Alpine PDX 2.150 vs. JL 300-2

Which one guys? they are both priced at $250.00, so please leave out the never ending "you can get something cheaper that is better than those"..

anyone use both? The class D on the PDX scares me off a bit..

I've heard nothing but good things about the PDX.

I dont have either of those amps, but I do have the PDX 4.100

(also my buddy has the 4.150 )

Dont be scared by the class D... I dont notice ANY of the so called "downsides" of the class D amps. The PDX amps are clean, clear, and LOUD! The trebble is crisp, and the low end is just fine. (i have mine crossed over at about 90 on the low end)

My 4.100 is rated at 131 watts on the birthsheet, and feels at least that powerful.

Plus the PDX is small and efficient, what more could you ask for.
