alpine pdx 1.600 for 2 dcon 12s

I have everything setup. my only problem is my amp to power these. would this be a good amp to power these 2 dcon subs? any better options or others amps that would be good that are lower in price? or would this be a perfect option.

idk how much thoughs are but im sure a MB quarts onxy 1000 would be cheaper then an alpine. Around 170 on sonic, ude get alot more power, thoughs subs can take 450each im sure

Are ure subs S4 or D4?

A pdx1.600 is like 280, u have alot better options for that price

I didnt even look at that. I figured I could run 600.1 watts into the subs and save from maybe another battery. but if I got to go to 1000.1 I might as well go with the sa-15 since I am in the watts/sub range. what is the difference between s4/d4?

if you already have the 600.1 run it otherwise you can look around, but either way its still a nice compact, and will do over rated power.

I dont have it yet. I am making the order soon and wanted to get everything right. if I can save a few bucks w/o sacraficing performance why not. should the ssa be pushed by something pass the 300 rms/each.

they would but im sure there decently underrated being an american made sub. Honestly yea if i were u ide go MB qurats onxy1000 with a SA-15 ported at 32Hz. That would sound beautiful, get loud on some stuff but sound really clean i bet.

Ude need a D2 SA15 so u could wire it to 1ohm to get ure 1000watts, SA15 could take that easy

S4 its single 4ohms, so its 4ohms coming off sub, D4 is dual 4 ohms off sub. So ull either get a 2ohm load or a 8ohm load. SSA does S4 and D4 but sundown does D2 and D4.
