what i got here is an older alpine model mrd-m1000 digital amplifier. i bought it used and its been fine for a good 2 months str8 or so since i bought it. earlier today i was in my garage doing some tweaking on the amp everything was fine. i turn the car off, go inside to get something before i leave, pull out turn the music up and no bass. my first though was just take it to my local authorized alpine dealer right around the corner. i dropped it off and came back later. they said everything on the amp is working, inputs power n ground, the digital displays shows and everytyhing, its just an output issue. they said this series of alpine amps is common to have this problem due to there fancy digital controlling. it wacks the board out sometimes. they said it could cost up to 200 to send it in and get fixed.i then decided to take the plate off and see if anything on the inside looked funky, to my knowledge i only found one thing. i posted pictures of what i though was suspicious, i dunno if its the exact problem though. is there anyone else who does self work on fixing amps that might be able to give it a look and fix it? with that said here are a couple pictures. took from a phone so its blurry but enough to see what im pointing out. plz just post only if your gonna help, not talk about alpine is shit. i dont wanna hear it. i just bought a sundown sae-1000d thats coming in the mail monday because i WAS gonna sell this one. so ya
