i know that, but look at all the people here at CA.com. whats the ratio of pioneer to clarion? and there are some real pros here. what do the pros run? not often clarion.

People tend to migrate to locations where other like-minded people congregate. There are lots of faithful Pioneer and Alpine users here. RE seems to regularly be a top suggestion to those that ask on here what subwoofer(s) they ought to buy. I can show you another forum where all of the mods seemingly believe if your subs aren't an Adire product then you're a foolish car audio newbie who doesn't know any better. I'd be willing to bet that if you looked for not too terribly long you could find a forum somewhere online that most of that board's regulars tout Clarion as the be-all, end-all of mobile audio gear.

Unless someone else is paying for your equipment for you (in which case I say f**k you, ya lucky bastard! j/k //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ) then just buy what ya want that best suits your needs.

sounds like a good idea. but you guys got me all worried about these new problems with alpine and pioneer. honestly though, i think ill take the alpine. ive been extremely impressed with the alpines ive used b4. they seem rock solid and sq is incredible. all the pioneer ive been using have annoying problems like slow loading, nonfunctional remotes, display problems. im just sick of it. i think im switching to alpine.
