Alpine MRP M500 amp with SWR-1022D NEED HELP wiring Diagram

OK basically the title says it all.. I have Alpine MRP M500 amp with Alpine SWR-1022D Dvc.. I thought that I could hook the pos to pos, neg to neg.. What is the best wiring diagram to maximize my performance

just as you stated. pair the positives together, negatives together, then connect to amp. however, it'll produce a 1 ohm load and I'm not sure the mrp500 is 1 ohm stable...

dam I probably should of bought the SRW-1042D sub instead of the 1022D to maximize the amp

probably. only option you got is to wire in series to present a 4 ohm load. That type r can take a lot more...

yea I just hook it up it it sounds like crap compared to the pioneer SVC sub that I had in it from before
