Alpine MRP M450

Will this amp be enough for one JL 12W3V2 D2? I was looking at the JL 250/1 amp, but I've read good things about Alpine and I can get this new for around the same price as a used JL 250/1. The W3 is 600W peak, 300W RMS if that helps....thanks!

Yes mine gets my type-r plenty loud and it hasnt overheated on me at all. Solid amp all around.

any other opinions? the auctions on ebay I've been watching for the used JL 250/1 are ending soon. smarter move to go with the new alpine instead??

yeah alpine is new and you wont need to run the subs at 1 ohm i presume cause 4 ohms will be fine the 450 will give you 220 at 4 ohms and 400 at 2 the JL could try and run ur subs at 1 ohm but it would be stressing jl = better amp overall alpine = better for you in this situation

thanks for the advice guys. I went ahead and ordered the Alpine amp and install kit yesterday. Can't wait to hear how it sounds!
