Alpine MRP-M450 Question

I have this amp and it is rated at 400W x 1 at 2 ohms. I've read a bit about the reliability of an amp when you run below the recommended ohm level, but would like to know what kind of output I could expect from this amp at 1 ohm.

Also, anyone with experience pushing alpine amps below the recommended ohm rating? Success? Just curious...

from the ones i seen they shut down and go into protect.
