Alpine MRP-F550 Amp Power???

I Have an unopened MRP-F550 Alpine 4 channel amp and when I installed it the blue power light turns on and then turns off immediately. I checked voltage coming from the battery, which was 14.4v. What is the problem, the amp has never before been used or anything.

It's broken. Where'd you buy it from? What size power wire are you running? same size ground?

There's your problem, you have to open it first and then install it.

JK, we need more info about your install. How is it wired?
