How do you set the correct gain for the amp?

The amp has three knobs - gain, bass, and filter

do you adjust the bass and you adjust the gain higher? how does the filter help?

does anyone have the gain setup for this setup?

Setup:

HU - cda 9855

Amp - MRP-650

Sub - 2 type r 10"
