Alpine MRD1005 or Alpine PDX1.1000 for IDMAX 12 D2?

What amp would be a better matchup for my IDMAX 12D2V3? Alpine PDX1.1000, MRD1005 or even the old school MRV-1507? The sub would be in a sealed box.

I would go for the PDX if you can afford it. They're hot right now, and would be very easy to resell it later. TINY footprint, over 90% efficient, and does rated power at 2 or 4 Ohms.

the only one of those i have experience with is the pdx 1.1000, i love it, i currently have it powering a 15" l7, and its got plenty of power

the pdx is a new design of the m1005, its the better choice. i dont know about the older one, newer amps have better technology

What about a Bridged 2-channel Alpine...doesnt that put out max power at 4ohms?

Wrong. The PDX amps do rated power at 2 AND 4 Ohms, like I said above. Know what you're talking about instead of giving people false info.

Is it risky buying one of the Alpine PDX1.1000 amps from a Ebay Car Stereo seller or go with the authorized dealer for better service?

The PDX amp has the same output power at 2 or 4 ohms. So series the two 2 ohm voice coils and it should work perfectly.

Update: Can't afford the PDX anything else I could try?
