Alpine MRD-1005

what do u guys think about this amp. is it as good as for say a Rockford 1001bd or better/worse. im thinking about buying it for my 12w7 cuz i found a pretty good deal on one. here is a link to crutchfield's site explaning it ALPINE MRD-1005

very good amp but for the money you could get a good a/b class amp thats just as strong and sound better.

Very good amps, defently worth the money. I was orignaly thinking of getting the RF 1001bd's, but RF's amp do tend to overheat. I've never had a problem with an Alpine amp, my old RF 1501bd use to over heat every now and then.

wouldn't you want more clean power? go get a dvc 2 ohm sub and power that with a dls A6 end of debate-right?
