Alpine MDA-W988J

i have read nothing but great reviews about this hu... it seems to be one of those older Alpines (2002-2003), with great sound quality and it also has a plenty of audio and visual resources to play with, let alone the compatibility with other medias... it's also made in Japan, which is great too, but you'll have to bother buying a FM converter to go along with it...

i'd go for it with blinders on my eyes... these are getting rare each day and it surely is a hell of a nice hu.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Great Headunit.

Audio Chip on it its the exact same on on the CDA-7998.

But **** A MIDI Player //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I could care less about the mini disc, the fact that its a sweet double din, a alpine especially, but it still has a cd player. If I get a fm converter, how well do you think they will work and at what frequency's? What is the best one I can get?

Its not fair that Japan keeps most the better decks there and we get the scrap, not saying that we don't get some recievers or anything.
