Alpine M1000 - No sound?

I posted another thread about this but noone replied, maybe i can explain it a bit better this time, here goes.

I was driving the other night bumping, nothing out of the ordinary, voltage at the batts was reading around 13.5, all of a sudden my sub makes a thump, my voltage drops terribly, and then no more bass. Ive unplugged the amp and let it sit to see if it was stuck in protect or something, checked all the fuses, and added new subs to it. I get no sound and even no voltage output at the terminals, what are some other things i can check? The amp turns on like normal but has absolutely no sound, and also this amp doesnt have a protect light. Will it void my warranty with alpine if i pull the back plate just to look at the board?

I bought mine at Visions Electronics, i think they keep all that stuff on record so i might be able to get mine fixed. Depending on where you bought yours they might have it on record.
