Alpine, Kenwood, or Pioneer

I'm looking in the $300 range, give or take $50. Features looking for overall ease of functions and expandability. Currently only plan on running fronts and rear speakers, with the future option of adding 4 channel amp and possibly a mono amp for a sub.

Quality EQ, Clarity, Motorized Flip down display, one that completely auto hides would be nice, but not a necessity.

So far looking at

Pioneer P7800MP

Kenwood KDC X890

Thanks

go with a pioneer...running a 4 channel and mono amp should be no problem cause it has 3 pairs of preouts..lots of options...good quality

i wouldn't buy a kenwood in that price range

and alpine used to be good in every price bracket, but they're geting on the 'let's only make our top of the line units worth a **** like everyone else' bandwagon

i guess go with pioneer, i haven't heard anything bad about 'em

The eXcelon unit he has listed has all of that as well.....not too much of a deciding factor there.

As I am admittedly a tried and true Kenwood fanboi I say go the X890 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Yeah, but you're also a republican so if you're anything like the republican politicians we know you have NO credibility.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

I might vote Republican more often than not but at least I can spell p-o-l-i-t-i-c-i-a-n-s, pinhead. After you've graduated from English 101 come back and talk smack to someone about credibility....

As if that has one bloody thing to do with a HU recommendation //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Like these guys are saying, the 880PRS is just too perfect for what you want. Do it, you will like it. And if somehow you're brain damaged and don't, you have the assurance that it WILL resell. Those things are gold right now.
