Alpine IVE-w535hd remote with the most functionality?

I have an Alpine IVE-w535hd and I'm using an old Alpine RUE-4202 remote. It's the more basic remote Alpine offers and I know the functions are limited, however I can't even use the arrow buttons to scroll through my iPod library.

Does anyone out there own an IVE-w535hd and using a different remote with more functionality, more specifically scrolling through music? I know Alpine offers nicer remotes but it's not really clear what remotes handle what functions on different models.
