Alpine IVA-D310

Hi,

I'm thinking of changing my current headunit and I'd like to have some information about this HU.

At the moment, I use Alpine 9855R with KCA-420i Ipod adaptor. The problem is, that it is extremely difficult to search for desired songs with the headunits crappy glidetouch control system.

Has anyone used this D310 HU with the Alpine ipod adaptor? Is it any easier to use? It's probably as slow as with the 9855, but if it's far more easier to use, I don't think I would mind the slowness.

Is there a way to back up in the menus with the D310?

I tried the touchpanel system in my local store and it seemed easy to use, but I didn't have opportunity to try it with the Ipod adapter.

My other question is, can I burn MP3 files to a DVD-R or +R and listen for those with the D310?

Is there similiar time alignment control in this HU than in 9855?

To awnser your question yes the ipod interface is a little slow but not that bad. But it is really easy to use. There is a returen button you can use to back up in the menus. Also yes you can put mp3s on a dvd-+R and dvd+rws i actually do this and it works very well.
