Alpine IVA-D310 Video Bypass

Hello everyone...

Just wondering if anyone had a step by step direction to bypass the video not working on the unit in the Title of this thread when the vehicle is moving?

I know this has come up before, I am not sure of the exact directions though. Searcha nd see if it comes up. IIRC you need a device that will simulate the signal of the foot brake and parking brake being engaged in the right order.

I had searched and didnt see any real directions... just bits a peices here and there...

Even a switch model and a breif explaination of how its incorporated would help...

two switches one for the parking break one for the foot break...the switches will simulate each...you have to flip them in a sequence which is listed in the manual

So you have to manually flip these switches every time you want to watch video while driving?

or you can spend $25 to get a pactr-7 on ebay...but yes you do flip them whenever you want to

Any idea what kind of stores I would look at locally that has these PAC TR-7 switches? We dont have a sonic electronics as I seen someone said they got one there.

you could try a local shop if not the only other place ive seen them is ebay
