Ok I have a CDA7893. Currently I am using the female adapter for the cd changer to hear my sirius through the Aux in. Is there any way to run my Iod and my sat without having to share the same cable?

I figured picts might help...If not they are still pretty to look at. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

what i did with my 9835 was get the kca-420i and xm radio package, and the xm worked as a pass thru and both hooked into my ai-net and i was able to control both from the headunit. picked up the kca-420i on ebay for $25 and the xm package can be found on crutchfield for like $70. much better then trying to run everything through aux inputs

the kca-420i would plug into your satelite, then the satelite plugs into your ai-net. i forgot you had and older deck. you may have to get the kca-410 which allows for extra aux. inputs and ai-net inputs

both plug into a box thing that should both be fairly small then that connect into you HU allowing you to controll them through your HU....on Pioneers you just plug one box into the output of the xm into the input of the ipod box thing and then the output of the ipod box to the HU not sure if its the same for alpine though
