Did the MRD m1005 change into the pdx line of amps once the mrd was discontinued?

yea i think so. I was looking to get the mrd-m1005 recently but discovered its been discontinued. So i ended up buying the pdx. Right now theeres the pdx and the mrp1000, which is the lower model.

I think the PDX1.1000 is better than the MRD m1005 anyways. Tons of power for such a small amp, and they are very efficient so long as you don't work them too hard. Plus I heard a rumour that even though Alpine said the MRD m1005 was 2 ohm stable it really wasn't and some of those amps would fry up if you tryed to get 2 ohms out of them.
