ALPINE IDA-X311 & Ipod 5th

Hello,

I've a Alpine IDA-X311 since 1 year and this week I recovered an Ipod Video 5th 30GB.

I try to plug it to my IDA-X311 with KCE-433iV cable and the car-audio says only "search" but if I plug a last ipod nano gen or a ipod touch, the IDA-X311 start immediately to play music.

What's the problem ?

(My ipod video is fully working, i've juste this problem with my car-audio)

Edit: If I look IPOD compatibility board o Alpine website it's ok with my X311

Hey guys,

I have a Alpine IDA-X311, and I just can't find some stuff about it.

Does this head unit have option to connect subwoofer? In the menu, there's option to turn it on, change from sys1-2, but the back of the head unit have only 1 pair of rca.

The KTP-445 Power pack listed as related product for this head unit, is there any significant difference if that's connected?
