I don't like 4v preouts.. can't use a lot of the old school amps without clipping. There's not many advantages to using high volt preouts

always been told that the 4volt is the way to go... do remember yrs ago when eclipse had 8volt deck and EVERYBODY had them... late 90's early 00's)

The only advantage pretty much is just that you don't have to turn the gain up on your amp as much, which doesn't really matter if the amp you're using isn't junk.

i still prefer 4volt.... most the time when you "turn your gain up" like a volume knob your clipping your amp.
