Alpine HU????

ok ....so i get this cd player off of ebay 1.5 din cda852 & it comes only with side brackets for like mounting in a pontiac. problem is that its going in a chevy & it needs a bottom bracket, soooo i order the alpine bottom bracket from a parts search company...i recieve it ....put it on....& it comes nowhere near to matching up to the vehicle mounting holes. in fact it only has one mounting hole(not 2 like its supposed to have & it screws on way off to the left side of the cd player (not center like it should)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

anybody have an answer to this situation or any input would be appreciated
