Alpine hi speed cable worth it?

I have an IDA-x200 and it works fine with my 3rd gen touch but it is sluggish when pausing and switching songs. I also run into the problem where very rarely the song will cut out for a second and then come back on. I'm just using the standard rear USB but there is that AI-net high speed ipod cable or whatever. Is it worth it?

I hope this isn't troll because if there is a similar cable for a pioneer deck I want it, mine is so sluggy whenever I start to browse through songs, or even just try to skip to the next one.
