hey all,

I am in the process of upgrading my system and wanted to know if the alpine f345 amp had enough power to be used with my focal 165v2 component speakers and my focal 130CV1 rear speakers? I already have a seperate amp for my subs (alpine m1005) so the alpine f345 would only need to power my front and rear speakers.

Also... I am using the new alpine 9857 head unit.

Let me know what you think.

well, its rated at 75w RMS x 4, but it should put out more than that.

i think your fronts are rated at 75w RMS so you are good on that.

like most decent speakers they could proabbly take more juice but im not too keen on how focalss are when you feed them extra juice.

focals arent too happy with too much power. They do fine with rms power, i have the 165v2s, and wen i gave them more power than the rms, they got pretty harsh and i think i almost blew a mid.... haha, but every installation is different. amp is fine for those speakers, just set gains accordingly and u'll be golden

Or you could upgrade and get one of these bad boys!!!
