MRV-F250?

If so yes, they are very weak, like half as loud as a SAX-50.4, I had a MRV-F250 in my truck on my highs and I replaced with a SAX-50.4 and OMG I couldn't believe how much cleaner and louder it was.... the MRV-F250 is only like 25 watts x 4..... most radios put out that much power these days straight out the back, granted with a little more distortion than the Alpine amp, but I would definately say yes that amp is weak.

I would say 40x4 would be plenty for your needs from the way your asking.

it would probably be 100x2@4ohms
