Anyways, their resemblance to the Ascendant components... is uncanny.

They both use a modified Vifa XT25 ring dome radiator tweeter, the both use a small neo-motored mid w/ high excursion and a phase plug...

Polk will more than likely be heavily superior in the xover section, with the ability to bi-amp as well.

I'll take the Ascendant's at a fraction of the price. Hell I already have the tweeter and it's TITS!

i doubt there the best, considering someone was showing some 1000 doller TWEETERS, yes thats right 1000 dollers for just a set of TWEETERS, nothing else

Well, Im a big Alpine fan. I want 100% Alpine.

I didnt really pay attention to the cost of the F1 equipment, looks like the 3 way set of F1 components are $3500??? Is this true? If thats the case, Ill have to step down to the Type-X Components.

Yes, that's true.

However, the Alpine F#1 speakers are just slightly modified ScanSpeak Revelator speakers:

Difference being that the Alpines have a slightly higher Q to make them a little more car enviornment friendly, and they use a proprietary protective coating on the cones for improved weather resistance.

But, using the Revs, you could go active and build an "Alpine F#1 Status" frontstage for a fraction of the cost of the actual F#1's.
