alpine dvd unit install

Hey guys, I've got this guy that wants an Alpine INAw900 installed and wants it so you can turn the dvd on with a switch.

Now, I've installed a few indash dvd's before, one being a jensen which had a pink wire I just grounded, but these alpines are completely different. If anyone could please run a quick diagram for me how I'd go about running this on a switch that would be awesome because I can't seem to find much help through google!

It's not that easy. It requires a parking brake AND foot brake wire. It one wire needs to be held high I think while the other one is pulsed twice and then latched. Then the other can be released. There are three options. I'll go from best to worst.

1. Pac tr7 module. It's easy to wire and auto-bypasses the lockout.

2. Blackbox module. It's easy to wire but there are many complaints of it actually missing the sequence and not bypassing each and every time. This means you'd have to install a switch where it connects to the ignition wire so you could have it redo the sequence.

3. install 2 switches and do the operation manually.

I read in the manual you had to do the foot brake + e-brake thing I just figured there was an easy way around it, but thank you for your help!
