i have heard all of the speakers above, the type s's are decent, the type r's i liked alot so i bought them, and the type x's they were good but i didnt notice alot of difference for more money. i think if you amp the type r's right you'll definately be happy.

the only thing better than the type-x's are the f#1's, and i wouldn't imagine you would want to spend $3500 on a pair (actually i would, but that's a bit more than i can afford right now)
