Alpine CDE-HD149BT On Certain Songs?

When I had the 149BT alpine deck, It sounded really good and really crisp. The thing i notice though, on some songs it brings out Too Much of the ssssshhhh sound in which I didn't experience with my older kenwood head unit. I messed with the EQ for quite a while in trying to bring it down, all that would really do is muffle the sound more. Anyone else notice this?

No, I run active at the amps. Don't use the HU's treble EQ

I don't use the eq at all. It sounds like u have bad quality music to me

Bad quality music? Heck no. I play a variety of music in my car. Majority of the songs, the alpine plays them good. No harshness or nothing like that. Its just very few songs I like listening to, the ssssshhh sound comes in effect a little too much with the alpine deck. Still, the alpine 149BT is a great head unit and that is just something I came across.

My gains with that unit were set in the middle using an Alpine PDX F4 amp. Its just a few songs that I cant seem take to take this particular (SSSSHHHH) frequency off of. I believe thats how alpine head units are.

FYI, I'm running Alpine SPR 6.5 Component Speakers as well, so with alpine type tweeters i can also see why, even though I don't get this effect with my kenwood unit.
