Alpine CDE-9874 is it worth it?

Hello,

I am looking for something decent but doesn't have to be top of the line. One of my main choices is the alpine cde-9874rr but having googled it, the reviews make it out to be a cheap, 'entry-level' unit.

Is this true? In the UK the cheapest price I have found is £109 (which is about 220 USD). Is this worth it? I don't want to spend much more above £100 / $200.

Have you done any shopping around? I mean I like Alpine and everything but that HU is bare to the bone. Try looking around for something else or even one of Alpine's higher end decks. Nothing to crazy, check out the CDA-9884.
