Turn the treble up turn the bass down and adjust your subwoofer setting to 15.
my truck was good to 35/35 with almost no distortion in the door speakers.

whether you hear distortion or not, you are clipping your speakers.

how can he turn his gain down any if he isnt running an external amp?

it seems like if i cut the bass outta the headunit its wants to keep the signals from going to the sub, and just make it weak.

Well i just got done messing with it alittle more, i did get something done but i dont have a sub in my box to test out the results with it.

i turned the MX feature off

Went into X-Over which is the crossover.

you have the choice of Low range,mid, and high.

The low i have adjusted with the cutoff being 63 like my amp slope at 0 and level at 0(this only lets you go from 0 to -12DB)

Adjusted the mid and high with the slope to 4 which toke out all the low to the speakers and now all it does it play highs.

now on the Eq the bass in up there in the first few bands like it was before.So i wonder if it will still let the woofer beat, i guess ill find out when my sub arrives.

ummm i got 9855 btw.... basically the same thing... but you can go from 0 to 6db to 12 db to 18 db to 24db slopes..... so you might wanna mess with that.... hit the source/power button to adjust slope, you alrdy should know this from reading the gay manual ( bah i hate this HU )

ummm on EQ ... do you PEQ or GEQ i was wondering how you got it set up

when i do rock i do the 7 band rap i do the 5 band.

And that is what i messed with, but on the HU it goes 0-4 instead of saying

Flat,6,12,18,24.
