heard good and bad things about it. what you do you guys know or have heard/read about it?

or should i just drop the extra money for the 9886?

also, wheres the best place to buy all my stuff?

I have the 9884 and it never cause me a problem. the con: no midrange control pro: ipod connect, you can add the imprint system to help tune ur system. Overall 8 out of 10

Why not just get the alpine 9886 from crutchfield? Better model with usb input and they have the price slashed even cheaper than other car audio sites(i know, gotta be a first for crutchfield).
