Hey,

I'm in the market for an Alpine HU, I don't have enough money to get the beastly 9887 but the 9881 and 9883 seem to be fairly well equipped. Can anyone recommend one or the other? Is the 9883 worth the little bit of extra money over the 9881?

Thanks

I was just looking at it and it seems to be where they change from 45Wx4 to 50Wx4 also the 9883 seems to have wireless stuff and "quick search"

Looks like 9881 is the top of the low end and the 9883 is the bottom of the high end, am I right?

Girlfriends car has a cde-9881 in it, I love it, strong pre-outs, good price tag, and outstanding features. You can't go wrong either way.

I'm hoping to find someone who might be able to repair this head unit. The faceplate doesn't slide out at all.

The cutting it off part is what I'm confused about now. The speakers in my car have two wires coming off of them but I would only have one wire on...
