alpine cda-9855 question

My brother was taking my stereo out of my old car and putting it in my new one, he ripped out the green cord above the ipod connector. Does anyone know what that is? I'm completely clueless.

Green cord with box?

if so the deck needs to be repaired by a professional.

Thats the DC/DC converter for the preouts.

if you arent running amps off of the deck it might be ok, but other than that it needs to be fixed
